Collecting assets instead of liabilities, toys and debts gives me freedom to use my time as I wish. Instead of just collecting bullion, numismatic coins is a great diversion! Some of the coins that have been minted are not only valuable and rare – but some are beautiful, real works of art.

A great place to start your collection is with the MS70 American Silver Eagle.  This is a beautiful coin and belongs in everyone’s collection.  While you no doubt want to have some Australian Koalas and Canadian Maple Leaf(s) I started with the Silver American Eagle.  It is affordable, in limited supply, and if you get the MS70 grade – it is absolutely perfect!  I’ve never met someone who regrets owning this coin.

Be careful!  Once you get your first, you may find yourself with a new, serious hobby.  The American Gold Eagle or Buffalo will be your next siren call – I guarantee it.  However, this is one hobby that will build your wealth – not your debt load.
